Third Grade Music

  Third graders this yearare learning a plethora of skills in music class!  We are learning to read rhythms, treble clef notes, sight sing using solfegge, and perform on recorders.

  We have been working hard on fine tuning our recorder skills.  We are preparing a song to play on recorder for an upcoming character education assembly.

  We work on sight singing skills every music class and students are learning to fluently sing the notes Do, re, mi sol and la.  We are also learning to identify notes on the treble staff using letter names A, B, C, D,E, F, and G.
