First Grade Music!

  We are currently working hard in preparation for our:

    This year we are learning to read quarter note, eighth note and quarter rest rhythms, and have learned to read and sing the notes Mi, Sol, and La.  We have also explored playing a variety of classroom instruments and have been making a lot of music (and noise )  we have also learned a number of folk songs and have played music learning games that reinforce pitch and rhythm.
