Ronald F. Wattie spent most of his life outdoors. When Ron was a young man, if he was not in school he was either hunting, fishing or hiking through the woods. This followed Ron's routine throughout his entire life. He grew up spending weekends of summer at his parents property on Tibbetts Hill. Every year, Ron and his family would make special trips to Allegany County just for deer season. He also loved fishing on Cuba Lake. The Cuba area was like a second home to Ron; he was a strong conservationist and loved nature. Ron passed in a horrible accident, and in commemoration, his wife Chris and two adult children made a generous donation in Ron's honor to Scott Jordan. Thank you Ron and his family.
