• Erick Lane spent his first few years of his life in Findland. When he was starting to walk he was also being taught cross country ski. Ever since then he has had a great passion for the great outdoors, acitvites and sports. At age thirteen he spent four weeks canoeing through Canada with his friends. While in highschool he became Wisconsin's speed skating state champion. Later, he was a collegiate ski captain and participated in numerous ski jumping compitions. Erick was also a sailor, sailing is an activity that he has enjoyed throughout his life. Once even sailing through the Chesapeake. Thanks to Erick's generosity with his time and money, along with his support and promtion of causesw thatb are good for the community, The Deer Research Center has benifitted immensely. And for that, we are grateful.
